Fiber Laser Marking Machine for a Mold Manufacturer in Colombia

2026-10-14

A precision injection mold manufacturer in Colombia purchased one fiber laser marking machine and two fiber laser welding machines from Raytu Laser. The customer needed equipment for engraving metal roller molds and welding metal components.

During supplier comparisons, they considered equipment stability, after-sales support, and spare parts availability alongside price. Their main concern during equipment selection was whether the engraving results would meet their factory’s requirements.

Metal Roller Mold Engraving and Frame Welding

The customer initially contacted us about a fiber laser welding machine for welding the frames of injection molding machines. During our discussions, they also asked whether we could supply a laser engraving machine for metal roller molds.

The roller molds required high engraving precision. Before choosing the equipment, the customer wanted to review actual processing results.

We arranged sample tests and sent photos and videos showing the engraving results and weld seams.

The customer had questions about the marking machine’s control system, voltage compatibility for both types of equipment, spare parts lead times, operator training, and the included consumables.

We confirmed the local power supply specifications in Colombia and explained that the machines could be configured to match the local voltage. We also provided quotations, delivery times, consumables lists, and information about operating tutorials and remote training.

As the customer compared different suppliers, they paid particular attention to engraving quality and the functions of the control system.

We explained the advantages and limitations of control systems from different brands. Several sample tests were then carried out to compare engraving results using different control systems and galvanometer scanners.

After reviewing the results, the customer confirmed that the equipment met their factory’s processing standards. They ordered one fiber laser marking machine and two fiber laser welding machines.

After the order was confirmed, our workshop arranged production and commissioning. Before shipment, we inspected the machines again and recorded operating test videos for the customer to review.

The three machines were packed and shipped to Colombia by sea.

Remote Training and After-Sales Support

After the equipment arrived, we provided remote operator training to help the customer’s engineers become familiar with machine operation and routine maintenance.

The customer used laser marking to standardize workpiece identification and engraving. Laser welding improved welding efficiency and reduced the need for grinding.

We continue to provide technical support when the customer has questions about the equipment.
